Clearanail is an exciting new product for treating fungal nail (Onychomycosis). It empowers the Podiatrist to make micro pathways through the nail plate in order to provide access to the nail bed. Clearanail is based upon Controlled Micro Penetration (CMP) that makes tiny holes in the nail plate. The holes allow topical treatments to reach the nail bed in much higher concentration levels than otherwise possible. Fast results are possible in as soon as 2-8 weeks. It is a single treatment procedure that creates micro sized holes in the nail plate to greatly increase the efficacy of topical treatment medications. The CMP prevents injury to soft tissue (Only the nail is penetrated) with a simple to use fully automated fail safe system. The device allows for single use component to prevent cross-infection.

Traditional treatment options for discolored, thickened, or crumbling nails often fail because they are unable to get through the toenail plate. With Clearanail’s Controlled Micro Penetration technology, topical medication can penetrate the nail safely, painlessly, and effectively!

Improve your treatment for unsightly toenails with Clearanail. Available only from the office of Dr. Julian Menendez, DPM.

About Nail Fungus

Fungal nail (Onychomycosis) is the same infection as Athletes foot, but under the nail. Once the infection gets into the nail root, traditional topical solution application cannot reach it. Oral medication work for less than 4 out of 10 patients and carry significant risk to the liver. Although much safer, topical solution application alone cannot penetrate the nail plate easily.

Our Clearanail treatment is based upon Controlled Micro Penetration (CMP) technology.
The device is computer controlled and is completely safe, painless and quick. It producers micro holes through the nail without touching the skin beneath. The holes allow the topical solution to reach the infection and are just 0.4mm in diameter.

Clearanail Process

Is As Easy As… 1, 2, 3
First, your podiatrist will perform a complete examination of the nail.

Second, your podiatrist will use the Clearanail sterile SUM to penetrate the nail.

Finally, your podiatrist will provide a topical regimen to treat your affected nail.

How It Works

Clearanail uses Controlled Micro Penetration (CMP), which is a patented technology. This ensures that the micro-cutter only removes nail plate tissue and will not cause damage to the nail bed beneath. Clearanail is the world’s first ‘intelligent’ nail drill to utilize patented Controlled Micro Penetration (CMP) technology. A fully automated fail safe system creates micro pathways in thick, unsightly toenails so that topical treatments are enhanced.

Clearanail’s CMP technology is completely safe, painless and quick. It produces micro holes through the nail without touching the skin beneath. The holes allow the topical solution to reach the infection without the nail acting as a barrier. The holes are just 0.4mm in diameter. The micro-pores remain in the nail until it grows out, making Clearanail effective after a single treatment! The Single Use Micro-cutter (SUM) is designed to be disposed of after each treatment in order to prevent cross-infection and does not require the user to touch the infected components.
